Karnataka Women Achievers Awards aims to bring forth the achievements and accomplishments of women across the state of Karnataka. Women who have excelled in various chosen arenas of choice and surpassed and exceeded limits of expectation.

These awards not only recognise prominent achievers, but make an arduous attempt to bring the unknown, unsung woman to the forefront from all spheres of society, with no bias. Fair and transparent, the sole purpose is to empower women across the state and recognize their achievement.

Who can nominate:

Anyone who is 18 years and above can nominate themselves in any of the 18 categories they feel that they fit in or they can also nominate women achievers they know personally (could be your mother, sister, mother-in-law, cousins, colleagues or friends) You can also nominate same person for different categories, but multiple nominations for a person in the same category will be disqualified.

Happy Labour Day

International Workers Day also popularly known as Labour Day is celebrated to mark the hardships of laborers and working class. The Labour Day is promoted by International Labour Movement, socialists, communists and anarchists. It occurs annually on the first of May. In India, the very first May Day was celebrated in 1923 in Chennai.
