My first priority is Education to the poor and needy.” Adressing to Media, Dr. Nahed Shaikh, National General Secretary, Minority Morcha, New Delhi. She said “ The claims by other parties that the BJP is anti-muslim, are nothing but vote bank politics. Traditionally, Muslims have supported Congress. But the Congress party has used Muslims as a vote bank. Under B. S. Yeddyurappa Government, Rs. 167 Crores was provided for Minority welfare then it was increased to Rs. 207 Crores. Rs. 10 crores was provided for Skill Development training for Minorities. Immediately Rs. 5 Crores released for Haj Bhavan.” Dr. Nahed said. Replying to a question Dr. Nahed said “Neither the BJP nor the RSS is anti-minority. It does not preach hatred towards other communities. B. S. Yeddyurappa is a man with broad vision and an open heart for Minorities. I am 100% confident, this time “Congress Mukt” government and BJP will form the next government in Karnataka.” She said.
